A letter
to our NY State and Springwater elected officials
Other than life, family and freedom, the land is our most precious asset.
As much of it as possible must be preserved in its natural condition.
Intrusions such as the proposed Bishop Wind Farm must be resisted, no matter
how laudable the goal of generating power in a power-hungry nation.
Sites for these enormous projects should be selected with the greatest care
not to damage the peace, tranquility, safety and environment of areas long
occupied by our fellow citizens.
As with the practice of medicine, the first rule of conservation has to be:
Do no harm.
We urge you to do all you can to find a better way.
